Your furniture is staged extremely well in the store and helped me to decide on my purchase. I had an idea what I was looking for but the staging really helped. Also the delivery folks were great. If I can make one recommendation it is that the delivery folks bring a soft dry cloth (like a cotton diaper, etc.) to wipe down the furniture upon delivery. It was really dusty from being in a warehouse I am sure. Thanks again for having a great store.

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the entertainment center recently delivered. There are many dings, dents, scratches, nail pops, and spots with no finish. Also, a back panel came off, another panel loose, and the bridge piece is not secured properly. Knobs are uneven and some bolts missing. I have someone coming to look at it (finally, after 2 weeks), but will return the whole unit if serious adjustments aren't made. I thought Bassett was a quality furniture store. This unit would qualify as second-hand or "distressed."

I ordered a "custom" table and 4 chairs. They were delivered in a fair amount of time. However, when we were wiping off the table, we noticed that one side was very rough. I called customer service and a representative came a few days later. The person was very knowledgeable and friendly and arranged for a replacement top and leaf - which we are waiting delivery of.

Sales and being helped by Celeste. The delivery guys knocked a piece of art off the wall and scratched my front door but the furniture was fine, so I signed off on delivery. Now I have a damaged door but worse, a piece of art (wall sculpture) that is ruined. I wish they had been honest and told me about it. Very disappointed in Zenith freight services.

The time that sales staff spent with us helping to coordinate the sofa and area rug was very appreciated. We felt very comfortable and that made the purchase very easy. Delivery crew was very good. They took the time to demonstrate how to separate the two components of the sectional - very important as the layout of the room has changed a few times since delivery.

I was happy with the whole experience. The sales and design team really helped me by coming to the house and measuring and giving great suggestions. They were very patient helping me pick exactly what I wanted. The delivery people were wonderful. Very hard working.

Terry was extremely helpful and accommodating. She offered to come in on her day off, we told her it was not necessary. When we came into store we told the receptionist we've been working with terry and they said okay. Then Suzanne approached us we already knew what we wanted but she followed around the store and wrote a quote. I did not ask her for any of that because we were working already wIth terry. The service my wife and I got from Terry was excellent. Being in sales for thirty years I know how important it is to stay loyal to your sales person especially when they gave you great service. I did not appreciate that Suzanne got half of the sale when she really did not sell anything to us .

Follow up on delivery of product to store. Followed up with Lillian at Bassett store on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh NC. She helped track my order. called me to update me without prompting and helped me when I arrived to pick them up. Scott, the sales associate, who has helped me before discussed the warranty program with me and I decide to save on the shipping by picking up the items (nice option) myself and spending the funds on the warranty program. LOVE the colors, love the quality and the help is fantastic. Keep up the good work!

The salesperson that helped me was great (Karen @ the Glenwood Rd Raleigh NC location)! The guys from Zenith, that delivered the furniture, were awesome too. Bassett furniture itself (from what I saw in the showroom) tends to be a bit small. It doesn't give a lot of options for large luxurious sofa/loveseats. That would be my only suggestion, give my choice for plush seating!

pick the various parts of the dining sets You don't ask what you did wrong. The sales and delvery people were great; the quality of the furniture less so. There are many places on the wood where the staining was messed up and gouges in the wood. I wouldn't spend on much to order furniture again.

Ordered four high-end bassett glider chairs in sunbrella fabric and unfortunately three of the four chairs had major issues and are being replaced. One chair had metal coming through the side of the fabric, another had no padding at all on sides of chair and the third had black thread woven into the white sunbrella fabric on the white chair. The bassett store is re-ordering and we are hoping for the best, but it was concerning that these three chairs could make it out of manufacturing QC and get all the way to customer delivery.

The dresser I purchased was very poorly constructed and the paint job was horrible. When the dresser was delivered it looked ok after a quick look but when you get into looking carefully it is chipped all over and the paint is not good. We have contacted someone to return it dresser but have not heard back. We will likely not purchase anything from Bassett again due to the poor quality, craftsmanship and customer service we have received.

Sales staff was ok when I purchase the items, but after that the staff was not a great experience at all. Couple of times it seems to turn into arguments over the phone about the furniture. It took long time for them to get back in contact with me concerning my furniture. They only took responsibility for one piece of furniture when there were several pieces that was in question, and needed immediately attention to. I feel that customer service fell off after my purchase and it was very frustrating. I called several times with no response or call back. Furniture was delivered with scratches/ dents that was not visible at time of purchase. I made a claim at the time of delivery and pictures was sent in to the store. Now walls and doors of my residence are scratched and the furniture is too. The repair still haven't been made to the dresser. I brought a lot of items and it would seem to there was be more help concerning my furniture, but there was not. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service I was given after my delivery. It took about two to three weeks for the manager/ store to take responsibility of my scratch and dented items. And the dresser was schedule for repair only because the sales lady notified them that the furniture was not like this at the time of purchase. Very bad and awful experience. I love the quality of the furniture, but the employees/ manager was a sign of poor/ neglected customer service. Thanks to the sales lady, if not because of her, I think nothing would had been done. Now I have to repair or loose my security deposit of my rental because of the damages that was made during delivery. I really can not believe that this was happening to me. Never got any call from the store manager, a sales consulted was in the middle, relaying messages back and forth, this is just no way to do business. And I truly feel mistreated and neglected.

We have had a horrible experience with Bassett and I am hoping that this feedback gets back to the store in question. It is a corporate store in Raleigh and I have to tell you that our customer service experience since purchasing our furniture has been horrible. Several chairs we purchased cracked and broke just days after we had received them. When we called the store they were reluctant to help us out and it took weeks to get one replacement chair. They did offer to have the second chair repaired, which was unacceptable considering we ordered brand new chairs and didn't want a "repaired chair". We spent over $6000 at Bassett and have to say that the customer service at this location, particularly with a Customer Service Specialist, Lillian, who completely dropped the ball after our order was received and damaged, has been horrible. There is too much furniture competition in Raleigh, NC that we will never be back to Bassett EVER AGAIN!

I felt that the furniture quality was great. What I was told to budget by my designer prior to her coming to measure and make designs was way under what the bill would be for the 2 rooms she designed. So much so that we ended up backing out of doing the 2nd room. I think being more realistic with the customers is better. We didn't even purchase the accessories for the 1 room we did and still way over her estimate for a dining room.

We're happy that we purchased quality furniture made in the US. The style and quality are excellent. We rated delivery below expectations because a manufacturing error resulted in delivery of an ottoman in the wrong covering. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient and disappointing given we hosted family for Easter and were not able to show off/use the whole set. I asked our sales rep about some concession for our trouble (a small % discount or refund, some leather cleaner, or something) but was told she'd have to ask her manager. Naturally, I never heard back. So that is disappointing.

Suzanne Herzog has been terrific as a sales associate and following up with me along the way through continued delays that I'm still experiencing. I received half my order and it is great and the delivery guys were terrific! HOWEVER, I ordered my child's bedroom furniture on Feb. 8. I was promised delivery in 30 days. I was then told mid-March, late-March, April 15, April 21 and now April 28. My daughter was so excited to get a "big girl bed" and needs one as she has outgrown her current bed. BUT we still don't have it yet. I am very close to cancelling this order because I'm losing faith that it will ever get here. I would think Bassett could offer a more firm deadline and make amends about the fact that I was told 30 days and it has been close to 90 days now.

Sales rep kept me informed of my order in a timely manner. Store worked closely with us so that we could pick up merchandise when the house was ready for it. (Since we had to pick it up to take it 4 hours away from the store)
