Audrey and her husband, along with their soon to be 5 children, live in a home that was built the same year Bassett was formed ... 1902! She makes what she describes as "rash, extreme" design choices that make you say "wow!" and those bold choices have awe inspiring visual impact. No guts. No glory. "When I’m planning a project I focus on three things. How will we be using the space? What scale should the furniture be so we are still able to get around easily? What feel am I going for? Modern and clean or something really eclectic? That helps me find the right colors."

Bassett partnered with Audrey to re-do the dining area of a warm, inviting kitchen. The big BenchMade table quickly became a favorite for all sorts of family activities: meals, snacks, crafts, school work, and work work. Audrey selected a table we love because it combines the natural beauty of a BenchMade table top with a sleek, modern metal base. The top is finished in a character-rich brown maple to contrast with the brushed brass finish base. BenchMade Rollins chairs have a bistro feel in a lampblack finish. An oversized Kentridge leaner mirror gives the room a focal point while making the room feel more spacious. All of it is held together with an Esha rug, a classic geometric Persian style with blues and whites.
