A strong frame is essential for quality upholstery. Our frames are precision cut and fit together with unmatched strength. Our design doesn’t get wobbly with time.

Our powered mechanisms are made heavier gauge steel so it retains a solid feel for years. The motors are more powerful than they need to be so there’s less strain on the gears.

We treat BenchMade reclining upholstery just like our other upholstery with a wide range of fabric and leather colors and textures. Some are online, but all can be seen in our stores.

Leather Recliner Arm Detail

How do you make a recliner not look like a recliner? We build it as “a frame within a frame” so that the seat moves independently from the stationary sides, arms and backs. We do all this without sacrificing any of the comfort you want in reclining upholstery.
