BenchMade Bedroom Collection

BenchMade is Bassett's line of solid-wood furniture, handcrafted to order. The name is a nod to pieces built one at a time, right at the workbench. Rather than mass production, each BenchMade piece is built and finished by hand from American hardwoods and designed to become an heirloom. The BenchMade bedroom collection brings that craft to beds, dressers, and nightstands.

Yes, it is made to order, built individually after you choose your options, rather than pulled from stock. Because each piece is crafted and finished by hand, it takes longer than a ready-to-ship item, but you can specify details like finish and headboard style, with a live edge available on the Heritage bed. That build-to-order approach is central to the BenchMade bedroom collection.

Bassett's BenchMade bedroom collection is made in the USA. The hardwood is harvested and milled in the Appalachians, and each piece is detailed and finished by hand in Virginia by Bassett's artisans. Even the hardware comes from makers who share the same handcrafted approach, so the collection is American-made from the wood through the finish.

This collection centers on handcrafted beds, including the Heritage panel bed and the low, clean-lined Parkway, along with coordinating dressers, bureaus, and nightstands. Beds come in queen, king, and California king, with options such as a solid maple or upholstered headboard, so you can build a complete bedroom.

BenchMade furniture is made from solid American hardwoods, primarily Appalachian maple, with some pieces using white oak or cherry. The wood is responsibly grown, harvested, and milled in the Appalachian region, then hand-finished to bring out its natural grain, with a live edge available on the Heritage bed. Bassett also plants two trees for every BenchMade bed, table, and credenza sold.
