The Brower Project: A Space for Family
The Browers wanted a room where the whole family could gather. A space that felt warm, comfortable and easy to settle into, without giving up a clean, timeless look.
Working with Bassett Design Consultant Michelle Nichols, they started with a neutral palette in warm tones, layered with leather, soft upholstery and natural textures. Here’s how the Brower Project came together.

Before
Comfortable, with room to improve
The Browers wanted to make more of the room they already had, creating a warmer, more cohesive space with comfortable seating arranged for conversation and a clean, timeless feel.
Design
Planning is the key.
See your space before you commit.
And yes, it’s free.
Michelle created the room and built it to scale, laying out furniture and testing different arrangements before the Browers made their final selections.
With Bassett’s complimentary design service, customers can use room planning, scaled furniture layouts and renderings to better understand placement, proportion and flow before committing to a room.
The Result
Warm, complete and made to be used
The finished room feels relaxed and inviting, with plenty of seating for everyone without sacrificing the warm, more complete look the Browers were hoping for.
“They wanted the room to feel welcoming, with comfortable seating for conversation while keeping that polished, thoughtfully designed look.”
