Same Home. Two Rooms to Solve.
The home wasn't short on character. It was short on space…or at least the feeling of it.
The living room's lower ceilings called for a designer’s touch. Jason used lighter fabrics, a softer rug and lower-profile furniture to help the room feel brighter and more open. In the dining room, the challenge was different, making a smaller footprint work just right without making it feel crowded.
See It Before You Decide
Before anything was finalized or purchased, Jason used Bassett's room-planning tools to help the homeowners see the direction of the design. Furniture was placed to scale, layouts were adjusted in real time and potential space challenges were worked through before the rooms came together.
The result is more than just a rendering. It’s a chance to make decisions with confidence, and to see how furniture works together before it ever arrives.

Lighten Things Up
With lower ceilings, the goal wasn't to fill the room with more stuff. It was to give it room to breathe. Lighter upholstery and a softly patterned rug brighten the space, while lower-profile furniture helps create a greater sense of height.
The Allure Sectional gives the room plenty of comfortable seating without feeling heavy, while two Trent swivel chairs add another place to settle in and keep the layout flexible.
Next Room, Different Problem.
The dining room needed a different kind of solution. The footprint was smaller, so every piece had to work harder. The goal was to create a comfortable dining area while finding a smart way to add storage without making the room feel crowded.

Maximizing the Space
That stretch in front of the staircase could easily have felt empty. Instead, Jason found a piece that fit just right.
The Fairfax Sideboard adds useful storage while making use of an otherwise tricky spot in the room. Paired with the Louisa Rectangle Dining Table with Leaf and Holt upholstered dining chairs, the final result feels intentional without making the smaller room feel crowded.
The Louisa table also gives the room a little flexibility. Its extension leaf means the table can stay comfortably scaled for everyday use, with room to grow when more people are around the table.
