Our legacy of craftsmanship and style spans more than 115 years. Made with pride since day one.
BenchMade is a celebration of the past and a vision for the future-it's our best now. Using impeccably sourced materials from sustainable Appalachian wood to buttery leathers, each bespoke piece is artisan-crafted piece-by-piece with meticulous detail in the U.S.A., by hand with heart.
All our top-grade red maple and white oak is harvested in the Appalachian region, and is selected for its character and grain clarity. It's the best you can get.
We selected fabrics that enhance the wood finishes and are ultra durable, stain resistant, and comfortable all at the same time.
We use a specialized conversion varnish finish that we have perfected to bring out the character of the wood, while being tough enough for daily use.
What is Live Edge? Simple. It's the natural edge of the tree, preserved with the lumber to make a stunning table edge. We soften it but don't shape it. No two are alike.
Tables so beautiful it would be a shame to use a table cloth. Our solid maple and oak let the beauty of the table shine through in a way that must be seen to truly appreciate. You can get most either as a standard or counter height.
Generous double pedestal table with a solid 2" top. Harvest and Crossbuck tables come in four lengths, from intimate gatherings around a 72" table all the way up to a 126" table with room for family and friends.
Oval tables always make room for one more. Three Benchmade leg tables come in standard and counter heights (shown here), maple or oak, in different table lengths.
BenchMade also has round table options with a variety of diameters and bases in wood and metal.
So many styles and options to get a personal, just for you look. Upholstered chairs can be tricked out with nail head trim, wood chairs can be all-over one color, or two tone. No matter the design options, the quality and beauty always shines through.
Most chairs come as arm and side chairs, and also counter stools, like the Bailey. Pair with a counter height table, or coordinate your dining with your kitchen island.
For extra comfort on a wood dining chair, add an upholstered seat in any of our BenchMade fabrics or leathers.
There are six all-wood chair styles in BenchMade, each available in maple and oak. Each features our uniquely shaped Comfort Curve seat.
The sloped arms of Alice add remarkable style and elegance to dining. There are several styles where fabrics and leathers take center stage.
Oval back chairs have a style all their own. Ostrow has a nice mix of wood and fabric. There's a square version, too, called Samson.
Not only are they good for storing dinner and glass wares, they also are perfect for hosts to keep drinks and desserts close at hand or to stage that perfect place for holiday decor or your favorite things.
Keep dining essentials close at hand with generous storage in a 3- or 4-door Huntboard. Available in oak or maple with pewter finish hardware and adjustable shelves.
It was designed as a TV credenza but many like it as a dining room server. Available in three lengths and not quite as tall as our Huntboards.
Our finishes are rooted in our heritage. Time honored wood-tones that are formulated to enhance the natural grain of the maple and oak. We apply just the right amount of hand-rubbing and dry brushing before sealing it with high tech catalyzed conversion top coats. Eight in maple. Eight in oak.
We have curated a selection of fabrics and leathers that marry perfectly with our wood finishes. From fine weaves to soft chenilles, to a fresh new Belgian linen look. Many of our fabrics are ultra-durable, stain resistant performance fabrics including Sunbrella.
A collection of the finest fabrics coordinated to our collection of wood finishes.
An artfully curated group of patterned fabrics that add a designer's touch.
Soft and supple, and always luxurious. Globally sourced from exceptional tanneries
